The Cyber Harbor Group is a consortium of private owners, not a private equity fund. We give MSP owners a fair deal, a home for their team, and the scale to compete with the cookie-cutter national firms.
Start a conversationThe managed IT industry is full of talented operators running great businesses alone.
The Cyber Harbor Group brings those businesses together under one roof, giving owners a path forward and their clients a stronger platform.
With operating companies in Boston and on Florida's Gulf coast, we combine regional expertise with the operational scale of a platform company. Our own technology, shared back-office services, and unified processes let every company in the portfolio focus on serving its clients.
We are not private equity. The Cyber Harbor Group is a consortium of private owners who still run their own firms. There is no fund behind us, no five-year clock, and no mandate to strip a company down before selling it on. We built and still run MSPs ourselves, so we know what an owner is actually handing over when they sell, and we structure every deal around what works for the owner, the team, and the clients.
That is the whole point. Most of the firms buying MSPs today are PE-backed, and they run the same playbook everywhere: consolidate the help desk, thin out the local team, and hand clients a cookie-cutter service. Owners who join us keep their name and their people, and get the platform and back office they need to compete with those firms directly.

Tampa to Naples, FL
AI-first managed IT and security for growing businesses on Florida's Gulf coast. Fast onboarding, responsive support, and technology strategy that keeps pace with growth.
swfit.io →When a firm joins, its clients and team move onto our platform and are served by the operating company in their region. The name on the door changes; the people and the relationships do not.
Step away completely or stay involved. We structure the deal around what works for you and your team, and we put it in plain terms.
Our own platform, including the AI systems that run our ticket triage and reporting, replaces the tool sprawl and manual work that holds most MSPs back.
Billing, HR, procurement, and vendor management move to us, so your team can focus on clients.
We are owners, not investors on a timeline. There is no hold period and no plan to flip the group to the next buyer, so decisions get made on what serves clients over the long run.
Nick started in IT as the director for a Boston nonprofit, where he built the department from scratch and learned budgets and forecasting alongside the technology. He founded Boston Managed IT in 2015 and later Southwest Florida IT, and still runs both. At The Cyber Harbor Group he leads acquisitions and the technology platform the whole group runs on.
